Massage Therapy - Back Ache
Some people just know that they want some professional hands on treatment such as massage and don't have any specific physiotherapy needs as such.
In these instances, whilst there is always an assessment process for your safety, treatment can often fast track to become a massage session and subsequent sessions may then go straight to the table after a brief review.
Massage is very popular and supportive in the sphere of Complementary Therapy too and so is also an integral part of these well-being treatment options depending on what is needed and requested by you the client.

Foot and ankle problems
The foot and ankle can be a complex area, after all our feet takes us everywhere we need to go and are very important. Physiotherapy assessment is a good place to start when reviewing feet, footwear, shoes, insoles, slippers, boots and deciding if other equipment is required.
From achilles tendonitis, sprained ankles, metatarsalgia, bunions, stress fractures, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, strained arches, toes problems, Lightwater Physiotherapy can help set you back on your feet in the right direction again.
Elbow wrist and hand pain
We use our hands almost constantly in life and to have pain and dysfunction here can be really frustrating. Shirley-Ann Walters has lots of skills in assisting in the recovery of RSI (receptive strain injury) now know as WRULD (work related upper limb disorder) or UQD (upper quadrant disorder)
These can be localised in your elbow (tennis elbow, or golfers elbow so called) or at the wrist or hand and finger joints, requiring a detailed examination to understand the true cause.

OptiNeck Balance Wedge® is a device that helps you to maintain upper body posture and fitness as a sound foundation to the rest of the arm.
"Just to say thank you that was such a valuable hour with you this afternoon. I walked home raising my arm into the air every few hundred metres just for the thrill of it! ”
